This blog is my attempt to make sense of politics and public policy in North East England.
I make no claims to be universal and cover every important topic – I’ll blog on whatever attracts my interest. I have worked in economic development, so I’ll probably have a bias to that policy area. And I am definitely centre-left. I also make no claims to be objective and fair minded – I’ll jot down whatever occurs to me, and see what response I get.
Because I don’t want to be bland and boring, I’ll probably stay anonymous. I think it’ll help me be a bit more blunt and less restrained on this blog (do tell me of you think that’s a bad idea).
Of one thing you should be aware – I am not important, nor influential in any way whatsoever. I am just a mere commentator, sitting on the side-lines.
